The first step is to reach out via the contact form. We can schedule a free consultation. During the consultation, you can tell me a little more about what you're hoping to work on in therapy, and I can share a little more about my practice and answer any questions you have. If it seems like a good fit, we can then find a time to schedule our first appointment. I'm so looking forward to meeting you!
I work with adults across the lifespan, with particular expertise working with women. I can be particulary helpful in treating conditions like mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD and trauma-related conditions, and chronic health conditions.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of good treatment. We typically start by building a strong connection and work on building concrete, practical skills to improve your day-to-day quality of life. Next, we may transition into deeper, insight-oriented work. Treatment will always be collaborative and individualized to meet your needs.
My practice is not equipped to provide emergency or crisis services. If you're experiencing a mental health emergency or having thoughts of harming yourself, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency room.
The free consultation call is a chance for us to discuss what's bringing you to therapy, review insurance and out-of-network benefits, go over available session times, and get a sense of whether we're a good fit — no obligation to move forward afterward.
My typical session fee is $250, due at the time of service. I have limited ability to offer a reduced fee for a small number of patients where it's a strong fit. If cost is a concern, feel free to reach out and we can talk through your options.
I am an out-of-network provider. I'm happy to bill your insurance company on your behalf as a courtesy. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that can offset the cost of therapy. If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company will typically reimburse you directly after I submit the claim.
Under federal law, health care providers must give patients who are not using any insurance an estimate of expected charges for services. If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance to pay for services, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of treatment. I will provide this estimate in writing prior to the start of services, and you may request one at any time. For questions or more information, visit Good Faith Estimate [PDF].
Not currently — sessions are held virtually. I plan to offer in-person sessions in the future.
Just a private space where you won't be interrupted, and about an hour of uninterrupted time.
I currently see patients Monday through Wednesday, between 8 AM and 5 PM Eastern Time.
As a PSYPACT-authorized provider, I'm able to offer virtual sessions to patients located in any PSYPACT-participating state.
